Ukraine and Russia are different countries with different languages and cultures. The only thing that has united us all these years is the Slavic nation and knowledge of the Russian language. Many know the Russian language only because we were part of the USSR in the distant past.

But if in Ukraine they will grow a generation that will study the Ukrainian language, none of our people will understand the Russian language.

The Ukrainian language is not Russian from a parallel universe. The Ukrainian language has many branches. And if you get into the closed settlements of Ukraine, you will not understand a single Ukrainian word. Because in our country there are many variations.

Therefore, do not believe in perfect knowledge of the Ukrainian language.

In the distant past, we had a pre-revolutionary language, which was part of French and many others. That language cannot be attributed to Russian, since in modern Russian, little has been preserved from this.
